Not only is Gossip Girl super-duper likely to return for a new season in the fall, but there’s now news that a certain guest star will remain in the fold along with it!

Though executive producer Joshua Safran says that the storyline for Elizabeth Hurley’s Diana Payne is “far from over,” it is, in fact, none other than Kaylee DeFer, who he’s saying will be back for more in Season 6!

Josh tells E! Online that even though Ivy is a “complicated character,” the show isn’t looking to send her packin’ any time soon. “We have every intention of Kaylee being back next season,” he said.

Didn’t see that one comin’? We gotta be honest, neither did we!

With Ivy’s current trajectory set for Most Reviled on the UES, it’s hard to imagine a way in which she won’t wind up on the receiving end of one of those epic take-downs at season’s end. If Ella Rae Peck (Lola) is likely out for next season, and Kaylee DeFer is almost definitely in, does that mean that someway — somehow — Ivy will be re-endearing herself to our fave UESers?! Source
